4th beta (hotfixes for things i broke in 3rd)

Another beta on the same day. 

Discovered i had broken a few things, one which is quite important, so here's a fix for that. 
This is the kind of situation where it helps to keep betas closed to a smaller circle, so i'm glad i did it this way this time. 
Apologies if you ran into difficulties editing certain files in the 3rd beta.
